Alflila slippers - Limited Edition By Hicham Lahlou Designer
Famous for its craftsmen and traditional babouches, the city of Fez can now boast the production of the first Moroccan babouche signed by an international designer, Hicham Lahlou.
Indeed, it is in the heart of the medina of Fez, that this model is handmade.
This collaboration was born from the common conviction of the designer and the creator of the Barok brand, Nabil Slaoui, that design is an important economic lever and an inescapable asset for the Moroccan handicraft.
They decided to work together to support the Moroccan Handicrafts and Artisans in the midst of a health crisis. The first fruit of their work is an exceptional babouche.
The Alflila babouche was exhibited at the Museum On The Seam in Jerusalem as a contemporary work of art that had a positive social impact during the containment.
Conceived and created by designer Hicham Lahlou, designed and produced by Barok, this babouche is made in a limited edition of one thousand (1,000) pieces.
Inspired by a fusion between the magical world of the Arabian Nights and the eclectic world of Jazz, the model is called Alflila.
